The idea of having a certifed Chef come and cook for you, bring to mind an expensive night. However, it is not the case with Chef Michael Anderson and his company Bow Valley Gourmet. His pricing revolves around the menu, as he states "Beef Tenderloin is not the same price as Top Sirloin" We put together a menu that we wanted at the price point we were looking for. We were served on time, in the comfort of our Hotel room, which smelled Great! He cleaned up and left the place spotless.
Positives: Price point was better than most restaurants in Canmore. Chef Michael Anderson is a certified Chef and his food is incredible! High quality foods to prepare our meal, which created an end result on the plate that was fantastic!
Bow Valley Gourmet has many Personal or Private Chef options. We give you the kind of food you want, the way you want it - The idea is that you can spend quality time with your family and friends and we take care of everything! How it all works: During our initial conversation we will set up a free consultation where we come to your house and go thru a questionnaire to get an idea of style and expectations you have for your event. We customize 3 different menus, send them to you, you approve 1 menu you like. We confirm the date. Payment of 50% is due 7 days prior, payment in full is due 3 days prior. We arrive 4-6 hours prior depending on your menu with our Knives, Dishes, China, Pots and Pans to create your theme. You relax and enjoy your time with your family and friends while we do everything. We clean you kitchen when we are done!! Bow Valley Gourmet is Registered and Licenced with The town of Canmore, We are also Canadian Food Handlers Certified.
